Evening all
Firstly thanks for the help with my previous post.
This one is basically a mini " guess the emperor " coin as there is no legend to help on the obverse and the reverse only has parts visible.

The reverse must say " republica " but apart from that I have drawn a blank on this one.
Nicely struck portrait though with a possible clash/double strike on nose/chin/forehead and top of crown but maybe that's just the strike.
TIA

Wouldn't discount Tetricus I, but to me it looks closer to Postumus.

Thanks BEN
There are 2 on Wildwinds which are very close, RIC 135 & 136
The legs seem to be the main difference on the reverse but the portrait has matching die flaws evident on several of the wildwinds examples.
What is your avatar BEN ? looks like the man in question.
Medieval, I will go and check the postumus just in case

I agree it's Tetricus but not I, I think it's Tetricus II.

I think BEN has cracked it, its not postumus and I cant find a portrait of Tetricus ii with a decent enough beard.
There's not many coins for reference from this chap either and a lot of the pictures show damage of some kind, although not perfect I am more than happy with it as the portrait is nicely struck.
I will post some pics tomorrow of the others that I purchased in the bundle which I have managed to identify already.

Let me add that I recognise the 'PF' in front of 'AVG', so it can't be RIC#135.
Let me also add that while Wildwinds has no 'SPES PVBLICA' reverse for Postumus, Sear#10994 is.
