@Silverworld, Buy what you like and what you want at whatever weight you want. 1 oz a month is relatively a sound move but if you can do 2 a month then do it. You sound like you are informed and rational about PM prices so just pick a price per ounce limit and if silver hits that mark then either stop buying or ration buy. Keep posting I for one like your analysis.

@Groszy,JP Morgan no not really. Maybe but the FED yes. Along with:
For this week, second estimate of GDP for Q4, China's manufacturing PMI, U.S. existing, pending and new home sales, EU Monetary developments, U.S. durable goods, final EU CPI estimate, Draghi testifies, U.S. consumer confidence and UoM consumer sentiment.
Week after Week PM's get effected by reports. Some have little or no effect for PM's but make no mistake about it they as a whole or single do effect PM's week after week. Next weeks Reports I will give times to look out for.
The FED have the biggest effect over all on PM's. Gold not breaking back from 1,200 is keeping Silver up and that will not last forever.
The Dow over 18,000 is a new trend that,I feel is going to be the down fall this year for PM's. Dow's numbers are a big driver for both the little guy in the market and the big guy.
The Dow is strong this year, last year as well but it is for sure the Next Bubble. When it gets back in check PM's will soar. Its unreal over 3000 point if not more in the last 5 years or so.
As far as JP who knows,I follow Reports,Trading and over all outlook on Fiat Markets. 2015 I see nothing good for PM's. Sideways or Down. We still have 10 months maybe the Dow will lose big at some point this year, for the most part I do not think so for this year.
The Ding Dollar is what it is,not real,paper/linen,dirty, not fun to hold and rub.
The Shiny Silver is what it is,real, metal, clean, fun to hold and rub.
If I do hold Fiat its:

Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that's what makes this forum so great. There is a lot of expertise and a lot of knowledge that is shared...
Yup is a trader and treats silver/gold like a commodity... he talks about price action.. all of what he says is valid, true and good advice.
I certainly can't say that I'm as knowledgeable as Yup in trading.. and I don't pretend to be either... for me.. it's all about comfortable ranges...as well as price trends and price action.
Am I comfortable buying at this price.. sure... does that mean I could incur a loss... most definetely... esp. with this volitile market... if it's just a small purchase to scratch the itch to buy or you just want one specific coin.. I don't mind if I end up losing a little here or there.. it's the cost of having a "hobby" ... ask any car guy that buys a $10K car puts $50k and 200 hrs into it.. and sells the thing 2 yrs later for $30K.. that's just the nature of the beast...
If your "hobby" is buying silver or gold... understand it may depreciate...
If you're looking at silver and gold as INVESTMENTS then you have to also balance the amount you're going to invest with any/all other opportunities you may have where you can invest the same/similar amount of money and expected return versus risk... as such you would watch and pay attention to price action a whole lot more.
Me I buy.. and I'm a buyer right now..

This is the only Report this week that will be the most important to bring another start to a down trend in the market.
3-6-15 Friday 13:30 - U.S. Non-Farm Payroll Report: In the last employment report referring to January 2014, the number of non-farm payroll employment rose by 257K - higher than market expectations; the U.S unemployment rate inched up to 5.7%. If the upcoming report shows another strong gain (current projections are at 241K), this could further strengthen the USD and bring back down the prices of gold and silver;
Silver is still in a down trend heading back to 2005-06 Levels.

i dont think id discourage people from buying tangible silver even if you believe its going to go down, silver stocks ill leave to someone else. I'malways interested in keeping a nice stock of silver on hand incase something like a re-valuation of USD was to happen. and since there raising the debt ceiling every year it wouldnt suprise me if it happend.
however I would love to see silver hit the pre - 2008 prices when I first started collecting. id gladly pick up $100 worth a week. ive watched silver and gold for a long time and made a good bit of money on both. but I personally believe its the calm before the before the storm. continuously rising debt will eventually destroy our economy.
my fiance rolls her eyes at me for thinking copper, silver, and gold are real money but then proceeds to log into a checking account and look at her 1's and 0's.

Why wouldn't you discourage people from buying a declining asset?
It's been on the decline for years and might not reach 2011 levels for another 25 years.

"I am not going to help people on a board where the Mods let this guy Yup call people nuts and point his finger at who I am. I am done this year,Mods had all day to do something about Yupper and few others,Mods did nothing so no help from me,I never lose silver buying silver."
Honesty, the mods here are amazing--had my time of Yup abuse and they actually called him out on it. Not that it matters in the course of human events, but I was truly shocked to see anybody get their knuckles at least lightly rapped. He professed love for everyone later--LOL--that was enough of his "goodness" for me.
I'm not really sure why everyone is so down on PMs here. Some of the miners are showing a nice pattern of higher lows. No guarantee, but at least a ray of sunshine for some more price appreciation, and bear markets don't last forever.
Not trying to pick fights with anyone and like Sgt. Schultz, "I know nothing," but just wanted to add a little postscript to the Yup comments--good luck to you all.

You need a thick skin on these forums, some people take things away too seriously , but away,I think the only ones who are complaining about Yup are the "stacker's" who are relativity new because if they indeed had been buying sliver 2-3 years ago or so when prices when $35 to $40 they would not be so quick to dispute his methods as a trader.
I listened to all those you tube videos and all the hype from Silver/Gold sellers to Buy now because of this reason or that reason. They were all "WRONG" Silver didn't go $100 an oz , most of that junk was from P/M dealers pushing P/M.
Some may not like Yup , but I can tell you he has saved me hundreds maybe even thousands of $ by not buying into all that junk info and wait.
Everyone is entitled to their option but you cant take things too seriously , but like I said you need a thick skin on these forums and just shed it off or it will eat you up inside.

I think some people forget there is usually a real human on the other side of the computer screen. People aren't usually so unpolite and brutal when talking face-to-face.
