Hello. Can anyone shed any light on this medal? It is 3 inches in diameter and approximately .200 in thickness. Appears to be either brass or copper. Obverse says "With malice toward none With charity for all" The years 1809 and 1909 are on either side. Reverse says"This medal was struck for the grand army of the republic in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the birth of abraham lincoln" My questions are who struck this medal, who was it struck for, and any idea of monetary value. I'm posting this for someone else who had it handed down to by their grandfather so I don't know the details beyond that. Thank you in advance for any info, MM2
