A little history to go with your note...

The denomination of this bank note is ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND German marks. It was issued during the period right after World War I.

The provisions of the Treaty of Versaille virtually destroyed the German economy. The German mark became essentially worthless.

It took hundreds of thousands, if not MILLIONS of marks to buy even a loaf of bread.

Such conditions in Germany paved the way for Hitler's rise to power.
