Hello! Recently my dad gave me a Royal Canadian Mint token he got as a kid growing up in minnisota. I understand that he got it in the late 70's or 80's So, I'd just like to get some info on this coin, mintage fiquares, mintage dates, value (althought its priceless to me), ETC. Basically any info on this token/commemorative! Thanks!

they were sold at the mint, mintage is most likely not known, people said they cost about $5-10 and they are made from 100% nickel.

I actually know a bank in the lower mainland that has 2 of these and wanted to sell them to me for $1 each.

There are four types of this medal.

1. Nickel
2. Bronze
3. Gold-plated
4. .600 silver

The silver ones are quite scarce...
