I believe this coin to be one of Faustina's but more than that I cannot add. I cannot find a 'likely' copy in Wildwinds or anywhere else which makes me doubt the Faustina connection. Can you help, please?

AE15, 2.1 gm

Never discount that a coin might be a provincial.
From the portrait, I cannot say anything - but there seem to be several letters of the legend which might be legible with a different picture/lighting.

Thanks, Med.

If the letters that you are referring to are at 200 o'clock, then my eyes are too far gone to make them out.

Here they are under magnification.

It's not the magnification but rather the lighting which is more important. Here my attempt based on the original posted.

I don't know what it is but I don't think it's Faustina, Imperial, Provincial or otherwise.

I have adjusted the lighting (variously) in these shots.
(Hope this helps.)

Doesn't really help - you have to twist and turn the coin under good light and see if you can make something out with a loupe.

Not enough detail for me to make a guess.
