Hello! I picked this Peace dollar up for much more than I should've ($35)! So, whats the grade/value? Do the marks on the obverse take MS out of consideration? Is the line on the reverse at 10 o clock a die gouge or PMD? Thanks!

Does it have any cartwheel luster left that you can see?

With better images/lighting, it may pull MS. Can't go above AU without seeing more.

Giving it to you straight: It looks like a cleaned AU piece worth about $20. We all pay more than a coin's worth occasionally. Don't sweat it, learn from it.

AU details. Cleaned. Ifthe coin was in fact uncirculated the marks would not make it AU. The coin would still be MS albeit a lower grade MS.

AU. You paid a bit too much, since TPG MS-6x can be purchased for $30 or so. But if you like it, that's all that really matters.
