Hello peoples !
I really only collect Ancients and those are almost always Roman , but what little money that is not spent on Roman Denarii or Siliqua goes to Soviet issues.
Here is a VF Soviet 50 Kopeck or Poltinnik.
Struck in 1924 , the year V.I. Lenin died.
A little back ground about this coin. This was the forth or "gold" Soviet Ruble , which was issued to curb rampant inflation ( apparently it worked) From this issue onward, the coins were minted in the name of the USSR. The Soviets used the same size and weight standards of the Czarist period.

Interesting that you own a coin which calls for the communist revolution.
And while equivalent to 50 Kopeks, it is clearly a Poltinnik.

Seeing that big smile, a name change to 'Subversivvs_Maximvs' should be on the cards. :)
