The-Law-Collection-Of-Mexican-Coins-In-Monthly-Internet-AuctionThe following is a press release from Heritage

Heritage has the pleasure of presenting Selections from the Law Collection of Mexican Coins. Over the past 6 months, we have been selling portions of the Law Collection with fantastic results. While much of the collection focuses on high grade British type, it also has a significant component of Mexican coins, as well as coins from other Latin American countries (which will be sold in a separate specialized auction later this year).

Highlights from this auction include a Republic Hookneck 8 Reales struck in 1824 and graded by NGC as MS62, estimated at $4,000-$5,000. Other standout coins include an 1866 Hermosillo mint 8 reales, graded AU55 by NGC and estimated at $3,000-$4,000, and an 1866 8 Reales from the Chihuahua mint that is graded AU58 by NGC and estimated at $2,000-$2,500. For the collector of silver minors, there are a number of high-quality 1/2 reales, such as an 1864 Republic 1/2 Real from the Durango mint, graded by NGC as MS64 and estimated at $2,000-$2,500.

We are very proud to present this auction, and we hope you will find something for yourself in it.
