Hello All, I am a beginner. I would much appreciate any guidance or knowledge about my coin. I don't know proper terminology but I will attempt pointing out some obvious issues with this 1983 Penny. 1)The letters "ONE CE..." shows up on the obverse side of my penny-on the edge just behind Lincoln's head. 2)It looks like some formation of the pillars from reverse appears on his chest. 3)Some more lettering appears at the bottom of the coin.
Thanks for checking it out. Any information is greatly appreciated! Please let me know if I can do something to give u a better view of the coin.
Thanks again :) Teena

That is PMD but this is a very old thread - in future you should start a new thread for your coin for the proper attention

But for more opinions start a new thread-hit 'new topic' and do it there but I think another coin was glued to your coin and caused this

That is glue on Teena coin. Two coins glue together and now separated leaving the glue looking like that. (probably Elmer's glue)

Thank you both for taking time to look and respond. I sure did not expect glue. I had no idea that people glue coins together. I cant even begin to guess why they would want to. lol
Slamnbass, I appreciate your guidance for my future posts. I will do as you said. Thanks again. I'm very grateful. Best of luck...to you :) Teena
