It looks medieval to me, but that is all I know. 20mm - 21mm.

At first glance it reminds me of the coins from some Italian republics during the middle ages.

Thanks to Bob L the coin has been IDed, however it is beyond the 1600 cut off date so I'm moving it to the World Coin section.

Bob L has it right, thank you.

I can't find this in the Standard Catalog, but I think I found one that looks the same here . It is all in Italian, but I think that is it.

So if I have this right, it is Italian States, Venice, 6 bagattini, bronze, minters initials PZ Pietro Zaguri (1673-1675), and I think anonymous to the ruler.
