need help identifying this coin and if its a fake or real. looks like it may be an 1890 guang xiu silver dragon dollar but not sure if it has any value or if it is a coin or medal.

I do not thin that this is a fake of any coin.
It is more probably a fantasy coin not meant to copy any real coin.
Lots of fantasy dollars and their fakes originate from China.

Actually, it is a fake of a real coin.

It is a reproduction of a very rare Chinese silver coin dated 1889 (Guangxu 15th year) produced at the Jiangsu mint with a denomination of one yuan.

An authentic specimen of the coin is in the collection of the National Museum of China.

Fakes of this coin are quite common such as this example which is very similar to the OP's coin.

Thank you for that information. I scoured the internet and found only one reference to that so that confirms what the coin is replicating. and I don't doubt its a fake after looking closely at your original. is this considered a fantasy coin and does it have any value as anything other than a good luck piece
