Over the last 40 years I have kept every Canadian coin that I have come across. Most coins come from change and roll searching, some from friends and family. My 2 boys are old enough (7 & 8) to join in the fun and we have enough (about 5000 small cents)now that we are going to start picking the best of each year for the folder and start searching for varieties. We have all dates except 24 and 25 and have been told that we're probably not going to get these from circulation and may need to purchase or trade to complete the first book. I have never paid more than face value for any of the coins and usually the ones from friends and family are free....

I am going to attempt to share and maybe ask some advice on our finds.
The first cool find looks to be a 1929 "High 9", my youngest kept looking for a "high 5", which happened after finding the 9.

Thanks for looking,
