So I just squired a 2006 series $5 note and I look up the serial number as a date.
(04021872=April 2nd 1872) And I found that the date is the day Samuel Morse died. I'm thinking that he is the guy that revolutionized the communication world with the morse code. Knowing all that is this note anymore than $5? Info will be appreciated.

Condition isn't the greatest and although it is interesting, there isn't much added value.

Birthday/important date serial number notes are neat, but not many will spend extra for them
