Just trying out different settings. I don't have any lamps, just the camera flash but trying to spread the light out with paper SSo what do you think of my picture skills, improving? Also what do you think of the dollar, grade wise. I think it's clean but I honestly don't know.

Looks cleaned to me, possibly polished. I'm guessing it's somewhere around a fine? I think the light is too bright, makes the right side standout more than the leftside.

Did what with paper? It was a black sheet of paper and the round thing was the cardboard that the airtite was held in place.

You said spread the light out with paper. What does that mean ?

Kerry,
Rather than have the light/flash directly hit the coin, it's reflected off a sheet of white paper. It has the effect of "spreading" and "softening" the lighting.
