Hello All new to site, I have posted some pictures of a coin? Token? and really need some help as no reference I have seems to have this item. It appears to be from China at first blush, yet the symbol at the bottom is "SEN" in Japanese, I believe. At any rate the coin is 17mm in diameter, it is copper or maybe red brass, the weight is .9 grams or so. It is milled not cast and is much the same as the milled cash coins of China from the Republican period. The stars on the reverse are indeed quite odd for an Asian coin. Could it be something from the China/Japan Occupation of the 1920-45 period? It is quite thin but very well made otherwise. Any help would be much appreciated.
