On a side note, at the Battle of Mursa Major in 353 Magnentius and Constantius II clashed. In the insueing battle over 50,000 troops lost their lives( making it the deadliest Roman civil war) this was the reason why Julian II had such a hard time with the barbarians in the later 350s .
