I have a counterstamped copper piece the size of a large cent. It has a G N couterstamped over some type of emblem? on a blank planchet. If anyone can Help I would be very grateful. Thank You

Looking at the line on the counterstamped side, and the apparent silhouette on the other, I wonder if this is a very worn British 17th or 18th century copper halfpenny - the line could be the exergue and the silhouette the remains of Britannia. The worn halfpenny could have been counterstamped by someone as a token in its later life.

IMHO, while the host is likely a very early copper, the counterstamp appears modern. The letter style or font gives me that impression. The tiny pictorial mark may be a lamp (?), and it's style could lead to attribution if someone recognizes it. (The "lamp" reminds me of the ANA logo) The letters appear to me to have been individually applied and not part of a logo.
