1924-P Peace Dollar..die File Lines Or Harsh Cleaning Help

ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 02/24/2015 01:37 am This 1924-P Peace dollar is loaded with all kinds of fine abrasion lines..in nooks and crannies(like under neck), my first impression is die repair work..on face, and IGWT area heading to rim, it's so filled with concentric lines, it almost looks more like scouring cleaning issues, so, I'm unsure what's going on. ilikeikes Pillar of the Community United States 1205 Posts	Posted 02/24/2015 11:39 am I am too, and, after further review, 6 coins in the album of 24 are all the same concentric abrasive lines, so, having to send back for a refund...bummed, as it was one of those "personal collections", I thought would have much better coins in it..many are chewed up too, which surprised me a bit. Too bad...the 1928 may..repeat MAY have graded high enough to almost pay for the set, but, 6 or so hairlines could easily have rendered that one "genuine", so, not taking any chances.
