Does anybody know of a company that makes a
complete type album with spaces for allsubtypes,
ex. 3 silver Three Cents, lib caped lg & Half Cent, all the different lib seated variations etc going back to 1793, 7070 doesn't cut it.
In the'70s I had one but it had pvc and caused my coins
to turn green, the company was Harco, plastic pages with
strips of plastic that had spaces for coins.that was a complete album.
But who wants green coins.
Next came a Dansco that I added pages and made holes larger to accommodate the additional coins.Would like an album that I don't have to modify every time theirs an addition.
Any other companies that make a complete type album.
Not interested in the individual holders because I like to
look at the evolution of a series all at once.Dont want to lay
them out like a deck of cards.I like albums.
Thanks for the help guys

Hi blcoinnut,

Complete is a matter of interpretation as to not just what types but also what varieties (which you refer to as subtypes).

7070 is a pretty good one but you already pointed out it doesn't have all the port you want. I've never seen one that fits all type set collector tastes. I'd recommend you create a custom album. Here is a link on how to make one. http://typesets.wikidot.com/custom-album

I made one using a Dansco coin stock album & slipcase.

The link is working but the server is down for upgrades :( Its back up, link should work :)

The slipcase is a standard Dansco 1 1/4" and it came with the album. Here's a photo of the two.

THANKS Ken_3567
The link worked,
Nice idea, never thought of using a Dansco binder.
Also has a place to write small notes.
Need to think about page design for a while, though.
Thanks again

Try looking into a Library of Coins type set album. It's a two album set. They stopped making them in the 1980's, but if you check ebay you should find one.

Try contacting Whitman. They used to have blank albums, blank pages of every denomination, gold press on leters and numbers.
