I have had a look the catalog but gave up as the catalog doesn't list the diameter and I don't have an accurate scale. Can anyone identify this? thanks

Looks like 1 real - hence the "1R" at the far left of the text under the hat.

8 reales is a silver dollar, 4 reales is a half dollar, 2 reales is a quarter dollar, so if it's smaller than a quarter it's probably 1 real.
