I rather like spiders; I've gotten used to them.

At the age of about 12, I was home in bed, suffering from the 'flu. Lying face up in bed, I noticed a huntsman spider, (looks similar to a tarantula) with about a 3 inch leg spread walking upside down across the ceiling of my bedroom. It was something to occupy my time, wondering where he would end up.
As it turned out he ended up about eight feet, directly above me, where he stayed for about 5 minutes.

Then he unlatched from the ceiling and landed directly on my forehead!

He bit me and left a very noticeable sting before dissapearing at a very fast rate of knots!
Huntsman spiders are relatively harmless, and like I said, I rather like spiders, but NOT in this case!
He scared six bells out of me!

I have also been struck by lightning, but that's another story!

Nice spider collection. I have the 2012 Perth Mint Funnel Web Spider that you have and this common bullion coin.
