The grade looks like xf but the color is questionable. You're not far from me. Bring it by Valley Coin so I can take look.

EF details, cleaned.

I recommend taking it out of the 2x2 and setting it on a window sill for a year or longer. Hopefully it will look better.

can you clean coin? I am only talking to get the dirt and grime of not using any type of brush or anything do other collectors do this ?

Andrew- you can clean a very dirty coin but must take extreme care in doing
so. technically we are not supposed to, but most of us do. you need to know
what chemicals work best on certain metals without damaging the coin. another words , educate yourself on coin cleaning.

copper is the hardest to clean without changing it's color. if it's just a little verdigris; use Verdi-care. if it's dirt try acetone with q-tip and or tooth pick. but if it's a carbon spot, your finished. there is nothing you can do about that. and if it's corrosion I've heard of olive oil, vinegar, peroxide, etc. experiment but not on anything of value.
