1929 1 Cent Die Filled Error ? Comments Please

sel_69l Bedrock of the Community Australia 21788 Posts	Posted 03/03/2015 4:25 pm This one really needs confirmation by examination by a an experienced professional, using a 20x loupe. The surface structure of the metal in the gap of the 'O' should be examined to determine if the die or the coin has been affected. Report this Post to the Staff

The patina in the area looks as though it aged at the same rate as the rest of the coin but it does show signs of what looks like a very fine drumel or file may have been used . I'm going to see a coin dealer who has a store here in town and see what he has to say . I've got a few questionable errors that I've kept just for interest sake . Report this Post to the Staff
