Does anyone specialize in medieval hammered silver? Here are a lot of coins found at Oxford, needing a gander by a trained pair of eyes. Anything noteworthy in this batch?

Kinda hard to tell with the way they are piled up, but definitely English not Spanish. The piece in the upper right may be a 3 farthing of Elizabeth I.

Looks like mostly pennies and half-groats, some halved and quartered.

Will be easier to identify if all are laid out so we can see the full face, and pictures taken of both sides.

A big pile of English hammered. You'd need better pictures of each one to get the ruler/types. I recommend you send a picture of the batch to the Ashmolean - they'd want to conserve the information about where they're from.

Keep an eye open for any Charles I/Oxford mint coins.

Sometimes I swear reading these is akin to reading a grateful dead concert poster. They are written in 'Hippie'

I see three London mints and three Durham, at first glance. Sure would be fun to go over these in detail.
