barryg Pillar of the Community United States 5847 Posts	Posted 03/05/2015 2:34 pm I don't know if this point has already been made, but keep in mind that most of the coins you mentioned had very short years of production compared to the coins you so desperately want to get rid of for some reason. It's a lot easier to discontinue a coin that has only been in production for 10-20 years than it is to get rid of one that has been in production for over a hundred years. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 03/06/2015 11:32 am Another factor might be that back when those coins were discontinued there were a lot fewer Senators and Representatives.
