What if they had put the MMs on the reverse, like they were in 1964?

I've always liked the idea of mintmarks on reverses.

Call me old school, but mint marks belong on the reverses of coins.

I think it depends on the coin. For example, the shield penny mintmark wouldn't really make sense on the reverse. Where as the half dollar is one of the ones that the mintmark would look better on the reverse. I'm a bit biased though because I have never seen reverse mintmarks in curculation.

For the record, I think putting the mint mark on the 2014 reverse would have been a nice touch.
