Hello to all , I'm from Pa. in the USA , I became hooked on this when I found four star notes in a week $1 two $5's and a $20 but I am very new to all of this and find it really cool I haven't found very much yet it seams as though I have a great deal to learn but I am a fast learner and I am looking forward to learning all I can . this seams to be a really good sight you guys have a great deal of info and you are all very helpful and patient , thanks to all.

Hello I am D.Fortune from Alabama now living in Louisiana, I am relatively new to the hobby but I and have tinkered around it for the last few years. I won't be a big poster but I love to read and I have a lot of admiration for this forum simply because each time I Google a question it seems I always end up on the outside looking in at tons of knowledge you guys possess. So with that being said here I am. I have a been reading the very helpful links to double dies and varieties that are posted from everyone, thanks. I collect Lincolns, JFK's, and dimes, nickels, and just about anthing else I can put underneath my glass..lol Glad to be here, love you guys and I have read the rules and regs so I hope not to inadvertently cross anyone.peace out I'm off to find somewhere to post pics of my 1983 DDO (I hope) wich would be my first. |

I posted my info but must of put in the wrong place,,anyway I am from northwest Iowa,,,really like the old large notes,,the art work got my interest,,,sorry about the wrong. Place posting,,hopefully the mods can dump it,,,thanks for adding me,,a little more info,,,I am 77 years young,,,my main career was law enforcement,,retired from Iowa highway patrol in 1995,,, my wife and I also ran an art gallery frame shop and gift store the last 15 years of my law enforcement years,,,we lived in rock Rapids Iowa then but moved to spirit lake in 95 when I retired from the state,,,we live on west lake okoboji now,,I Enjoy hunting, fishing and trapping and still collect memoibilia pertaining to those interests ,just lately developed an interest in money,,,mainly currency,,I have some coins but few if any with rarity,,,my currency collection is growing,

Born in Dallas yanked to Las Vegas when I was 5 so I'm kinda from Las Vegas and Dallas since I would spend 3 months of the year with relatives in Dallas! Now I live right outside Dallas in Terrell.
