Hello, I'm from NYC. I began silver coin collecting last year as soon as some of my friends started telling me that the economy is going 'crash'. And then I fell in love with pretty and or old coins. I began to coin roll hunt and about 10,000 coins searched later I've finally found my first DDO 2014 penny. But I have a bunch I hope you people can help me identify as either legitimate errors and or just scrap metal. That's the primary reason I joined, is for the aid in error detecting. Thanks. Btw, I found you on a web browser search for error coins forums. Did I do this right?  |

Near Spokane WA USA. Finally started sorting through all those coins I've been saving for years and I think it got me hooked. I'm doing 5 modern sets, one for each of the grandkids just by coin roll hunting. I also have a few pre 64 silver coins. This is the part I collect for myself and would like to expand.

Located in Clarksburg, Maryland just a stone's throw from Washington, D.C. Used to collect a long long time ago in my younger days, got sidetracked over the years. My youngest, who is a boy scout, is pursuing his Coin Collecting Merit Badge and now the fire is burning again. We are collecting together and having a fun spending lots of time talking about coins!

Hi, my name is tracy,I live in california.i just recently started collecting pennies mostly but I'm interested in getting myself more knowledgable in all US coins. Coins have always been interesting to me I've only recently started educating myself though. I'm really excited to see that we can share our actual coins with each other on this site. I've been to the play store and was unsuccessful finding a app that offered that feature. I found a couple pennies I want to share hoping to get some good feedback..looking forward to seeing you're interesting finds also..thank you |

I am Very new to this site and I am from Metairie, Louisiana so far I find this site not so user friendly for me. there is lots to read and I am just having problems where to post and interduce myself. I have questions about coins that I found and need to know what to do with them. (if they are worth sending to someone to get graded or not. I'm hoping this is the correct place to introduce myself. I am from the greater New Orleans area and I've been a coin collector what's the last 3 years.
