Hi everyone, my name is Doug Williams and I am from Illinois USA just found this site and wanted to join and see what we could all help each other with. I collect mostly Morgan, eagle Dollars and Peace dollars. I also have a very extensive collection of small silver, early pennies, and some foreign coins. |

My name is Bill, I live in lake county ca.
Been collecting mostly U.S coins errors, variety and just general odd-looking coins, for many years but just recently learned of the so many types of errors etc., existed. A friend told me of this site, highly recommended.
I look forward to expanding my horizon in the coin collecting world.

Hey everyone!! I'm born and raised in Hawai'i, USA but currently in California, USA.
I'm fairly new to collecting. Pennies are my starting point. I purchased a coin microscope and a scale. Any pointer would be greatly appreciated. I'm currently looking for a coin error list online. Anyone know of any?

Hi I'm coin girl from Colorado living in Minnesota now. I am collecting a lot of coins. A friend of mine asked me in September to separate his wheat pennies, there were a ton of them! I'd never really paid attention to money. I did save and buy paper money with the face in the middle of the bill. He folded origami but the face had to be in the middle. I found with the pennies I liked it, and I'm catching on! He then broke or all he had. Probably 55 years of collecting! I'm feeling overwhelmed! I don't know what a lot of stuff is... Errors. Ok that's it!

Hello everyone in the Coin World. I am excited to be here. I just got a little scale to start weighting my change. I havebeen soaking up all the info I can. There is so much to remember. SO MANY DATE, SO MANY TERMS. I have been interested for YEARs. But I guess my life wasn't ready for me to be yet. But Now that it's just me and my shepherd. I am diving in. I probably have at least 5 different boxes, jars , pockets that have been growing and waiting for the day I can sit and look at everything.im so looking forward to the journey. Thanks guys . Rane. |
