Hello all, I go by Dark1Don and I'm from TX. U.S.A. I've been in the hobby now for about 3 years and am still amazed at some of the things people find searching coins. Also still looking for sources of information and am glad I've stumbled upon this forum.

Hey there all. I'm Tom, an old fart and new dealer/collector located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. My ex inherited a fairly sizable collection and she entrusted me to catalog and sell it for her. I buy stuff at auction to sell locally here. Once I got my hands on her collection I saw quite a few estate sale coin collections going through the auctions. Well, I was hooked. Now I'm broke...C'est la vie.

Hi, I'm Ann and I've recently become infatuated with the seemingly endless opportunities for discovery and collections in this hobby. I started collecting on accident. I found a quarter a few years ago that instead of "Quarter Dollar" written on the back it just said "Quart Dollar". I found it interesting and the rest is history. I have a fair amount of questions and a lot to learn and look forward to being a member of the community! Iowa, USA

Hello from the Mid-Atlantic region of the US. I am a collector-wannabe in that I keep searching my pocket change, praying to find something exciting. No, seriously, my father collected coins years ago, not in any great numbers, but enough that I should have realized the importance of it. Unfortunately, I did not and when I was given some of said coins shortly after he passed (I was still a teenager...please keep that in mind!) I was more interested in what I could buy with said coins than what their future worth, or even present worth was at that time. Suffice it to say that it is one of my deepest regrets. Thus, I would like to find a way to make it up to his memory by trying to create a collection that I can pass to my son and/or grandchildren. I apologize in advance if my questions seem amateurish, but alas, I am very much an amateur.

Hello all, Boiled Dove from Terre Haute Indiana here. I'm sorta new to the game. Been very casual for several years but am now starting to work together an actual collection. Still working out what my real focus will be but I do love the proofs and errors that I've been able to find in the wild. It's probably been at least a decade since I've been on a forum, oh I didn't know that I missed them.
