Hi All! I'm back after roughly a 5 year hiatus after losing a big coin collection in a fire. No insurance either because I wrongly assumed that the apartment where I was living (my place of work as a full-time night security guard) would be automatically insured by the company. They said after that it was my responsibility. With no money to hire a lawyer, I had to basically wrote it off and chalked it up to experience. I did have some coins in storage but nothing worth a whole lot of money and I'm selling of what's left on ebay. That said, my love of coins has brought me back to dabble a little and from time to time pop in and see the world from a coin lover's perspective. Who knows, I might get bit by the collecting bug once again.... |

back! Sorry for your loss.  I've had this coin collecting addiction for 37 years now and aquired a substantial collection. I just couldn't imagine loosing it. On the lighter side, I hope you get bit by that bug again! Remember all the people you met, all you learned, and the satisfaction of filling another hole was? Edited by Nickel Guy

Coin Collecting - the unrecognized retro virus.
Once infected the virus remains within the collector.
No vaccine is available but suggested therapy involves finding a support group.
And the CCF is the best one around!
No thief nor disaster can make off with your love of coins.
And the knowledge that you have acquired about them.
