It's a common date in the George V silver 5-cents. It looks polished to me. I'll let someone more familiar with the market for these to tell you the value.

All my coins are definitely not polished or cleaned.

The first thing you have to learn is how to take and post a pic.

One of the only high value 5 cents is the 1921 but only about 400 still exist (Value goes from 4000$ to almost 200 000$ for the highest graded mint state 67).1875 and 1884 are also higher valued (1875 goes from maybe 350$ to 5000$ in higher grades and the 1884 goes from 100$ to maybe 2500$ in higher grades)but the real king of 5 cent pieces is the 1921 for sure.

Your 1913 goes for 5$ in the lowest grade to 350$ in gem mint 65.

The one you have here is most likely graded a fine so about 10$.

Hope this helps.

But when collecting coins the value is not what is the most important. The most important is to value what you own and can afford.

I thought it looked more like a VF-30. It is in nicer condition than others.

Could be I am no grading expert and when I do grade I rather be conservative about it.

So if it is a VF-30 the value would be 14$ or so.

Any how it is a neat piece of history no matter what the value is.
