I'm in the eastern time zone. The time changes tomorrow at 2 AM. (Spring ahead) So - if I want to list a coin on ebay tonight (before the time change) and I want it to finish up 7 days from now at 10 PM, do I list it tonight at 9 PM or at 11 PM...?

It's pathetic, but I'm missing whatever gene is required to figure this out....

You would list it at 10.00pm.
Setting the clock ahead or back as nothing to do with it.

JimmyD - Oh, trust me, it DOES have something to do with it. If I list it at 9 or 11 tonight, I will either get it right or miss it by two hours. When you have a 7 day listing, your listing finishes up exactly 168 hours (7days x 24 hours) later. The time change either adds an hour or subtracts an hour from that 168.

It depends on if your going by days or hours.
10.00pm tomorrow is 1 day from 10.00 tonight but it is only 23 hours.
Therefore 7 days from 10.00 tonight is 10.00 next Saturday even though it is 167 hours..

I listed all my stuff between 11:30 and 12:00 in the hopes that they'd finish up between 10:30 and 11:00 a week from now. We'll see....

AAARRRRGGHHHHH! See JimmyD? You're WRONG and I'm stupid. I listed them all between 11:30 and 12 and I can see NOW that they're going to finish between 12:30 AM and 1:00 AM. It makes a difference (like I said!) and I chose incorrectly as I almost always do! I should have listed between 9:30 and 10. I can never keep this straight! I suffer from the heartbreak of DSTD!!
