Hi everyone,
I was just wondering if someone could post a picture of the reverse of type 1 and type 2 for the Eisenhower dollars. I'm having trouble telling the difference, and I'm pretty close to finishing off my Ike dollar collection.
Thank you,
-Ben

This thread to an e-bay page should explain all types of Eisenhower dollars, If you are collecting all types be prepared to find out there are quite a few varieties - and some not easy to come by and the price reflects that fact.

A very good book to have if you collect ikes is The Authoritative Reference on Eisenhower dollars second edition. New this year. It shows all the types for the obverses and reverses. Explains the different types of doubling. The different die changes. And roughly 150 different obverse and reverse doubled dies. Very nice pictures for just about everything in the book. Plus much more. I've seen them 25.00 to 30.00 plus shipping at many places.
