I'm not ruling it out. Tough to be sure from the pictures but there have been some interesting Doubled Dies turning up lately. I see some potential on this one.

I agree that the philly coins seem to have all the varietys and error's, whats up with that. Perhaps all the people at the philly mint aren't up to par, as at the Denver mint. Or there more coins produced at the philly mint than Denver. What ever the reason, wished I lived outside the Denver mint area.

I was referring to true "doubled die" and not "double die" is all. I hope you didn't think my "real deal" comment was meant as being counterfeit or something in some way.

I recall reading something about doubled legs on some cents. There have been doubled knees on some as well as slight doubling on the inside of the center columns of the Memorial building.
I have thousands of cents that are not sorted as well as they should be after I found them and I am pretty sure that I have another one like the one with the doubling to the right of Lincoln. I just cant find it right now and I don't remember what the date is.
That is why I didnt want to rule it out. It is possible.

Someone asked, " Foundinrolls has any thing like this been submitted to Coin World?" "Beehives" have been. I wonder if Lincoln's Boogers or Lincoln's Cowlick will make it, too.
