Hi,
I got california coin.It's from 1855 on one side is indian head with 14 stars,and on the other side is written California,in the middle is one star and bellow is written gold.Can u help me to find out more about this coin(becaouse I can't find it enywhere)link or some info.

zerovix,

It sounds like one of those souvenir pieces they struck in the late 1960's. They are not really made of gold nor are they real California Gold pieces. What denomination is printed on the coin, if any..?

I got burned on one of these also. It turned out to be made of brass. Sound's like the same type.
