WHOA! matthewvincent checking in here. The Barber Coin Collectors' Society will have a table. I have no idea what will be displayed but Barber and Seated Liberty Collectors should stop by to chat with John Frost. The man KNOWS his coins.
If weather permits, I'll drag my humble set of dimes for anyone to have a look-see. I do not plan to attend in an official BCCS capacity.
I remember last year; the venue is non-threatening, size-wise, and I had a great time meeting other CCF members. I had to park on the street but a short walk away. And I got lost on the drive home.
I look forward to this show and to meeting up with you all.

Great jdmern! I have been weathered-out the last two local shows so I am overdue for a trip. Especially to meet up with other CCF folks here in New England. Let's hope for favorable weather.

After the most brutal winter I can remember it looks like the weather has finally turned and we are in snow melt mode. In 2 weeks we might actually see the ground!
I'll bring a few of my special coins with me....

I just got back from the local show. I have identified four or five dealers who will be there. Brad and Cobey remember you from last year. (Had a table in the far back near the stage.) Brian will be there as well a Vinny. Neither you have met before. A fourth went as a buyer without a table set up. I am looking forward to seeing you again. Brad did mention one thing: Large Cents tend to go for a small spread between Good and Very Fine. Above that the prices jump. And rare dates go through the roof. So I cannot be much help to you regarding one or two additions to your type set. Consensus was: "For a type set the nicest example that you can afford." And that is something that you have to decide before next Sunday. (And this time I bought nothing. Just went to touch base with dealers locally.) Even the ATM machine was 'temporarily offline' this morning. An omen? Saving up for next week, just in case I find something.

There will be some excellent foreign coin dealers there, at least 2 German specialists and one of my favorite Canadian dealers here in the states...

Is it true that ANACS will be there for grading? My friend has brought up having me bring a high grade Standing Liberty quarter to the show for them to grade. How would that work? Any ideas/suggestions?

ANACS had a rep there last year, not onsite grading but you could do onsite submissions

bpoc1, I had a great time. Much better than last year since I had a whole extra year of knowledge. I'm really happy with what I bought. 4 type pieces and it was good to get Matthew's help with my purchases.
