I do believe they are way undervalued. The highest mintage (1913) is 2848 and the lowest (1909 VDB) is 420. The total mintage of the whole run is a miniscule 15,314! Add to these low numbers the fact that they resemble mint state Lincolns and most were probably spent, make matte proofs a steal at these levels.

In the interest of full disclosure I do own a complete set.

I voted undervalued ,,and I hope they stay that way for awhile yet .

From my experiance there is a definite lag in pricing on the Lincoln proofs and not just the older matte proofs but across the board .

One day they will adjust .
