I just saw this one and I knew I had to get it.
Sold as a O-112 R.2 is that right?

It's actually O-112a because of the filled N and S on the reverse. 1826 capped bust half dollars are among the best struck of the series. Great retoning after old cleaning, do I see a bit of a doubled profile? Nice one!

Dito -- The N and S give it away.

Halfabust, I think I do see a bit of a double profile and I think I see some clashing on the reverse by the wing.

Amac, buy another! :)

Thanks for the comments everyone.

As long as you are aware that the coin was dipped and retoned at some point, then I think it is a nice coin.

I figured it was cleaned, and I really don't have a problem with cleaned coins unless they're not harshly cleaned and I know that I bought a cleaned coin.
