Looking to go higher up in $$ for a Morgan. Paid roughly 275 for it. Wanting to trade it in towards a higher-end piece. Looking to spend around 650 total (Including the trade in). What Morgan year and grade do you guys suggest. Been reading the book: " Morgan silver dollars". So many to choose from. what would be a good purchase for that price range? They go for around $600-$650, perfect for your budget. Otherwise, a nice, appealing 1880 or 81 S also sounds good. Report this Post to the Staff
SsuperDdave Moderator United States 23522 Posts	Posted 03/12/2015 10:50 pm 1883 or 1884 will net you the highest graded Carson City coins for the money, but coinlover168's idea of keys in lesser grades is worth a look. You could get a decent 1889-CC for $650. Report this Post to the Staff
