Has anyone added page 9 to their 8100 Lincoln albums? With 2008 approaching I was going to order one. It says it is for 2008-2019S. My question is what does 2009 look like?  Is it just PDS for every year? Should I just get a blank cent page and some gold letters? Thanks, Jim |

I found the answer to my own question. I will upload the picture but it is PDS for each year.

Yep, that page will be useless in a couple years although it will probably be updated once the Mint actually settles on what they will do.

The way the dollar is going the melt value of zinc might leave the penny obsolete.

Why not just get that page instead of the blank? The dates are already there and it will match your other pages instead of lettering it yourself. If future dates are not needed, it does not matter if the dates are already filled in or not the remainder of the holes on that page will be useless anyway.

The reason not to buy this page is the 2009 commemorative Lincoln Cents. There should be 4 each PD&S for that year. Since the album seems to be discontinued I doubt Dansco will come out with a correctly labeled page...

look at the lower left corner of that page- it is page 9 for 8100 and page 5 for 8102(the current proof album) so an updated replacement should be available around 2009.

Thanks. I had not noticed that. Maybe I will just be patient and wait for an update. Either way, I am not ordering one of these!

Ok Jim I see what you are saying for the different issues for '09. Like biokemist6 says it is a universal page for both albums and hopefully they will have a correctly labeled page by then because I will need one for my 8102.
