2003W would be a proof set from the Winnipeg mint. They weren't made for circulation like that. You should have 4 varieties of 2003:

2003 Crowned
2003P Crowned
2003 Uncrowned
2003P Uncrowned

The 1908-1998 is this one:

It's also a proof coin, not issued for Circulation

Don't worry about asking questions. I'm just glad someone is finally asking questions that I can answer.

Actually there is a 1908-1998 antique 5 cent silver. These sets came before the proof sets which commemorated the 90th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Mint. The antique sets consisted of coins with the same reverse design as the coinage of 1908 and were minted in .925 silver including the large cent which was bronze plated sterling silver. These coins had an antique finish on them. There was a problem with the one cent because they used the reverse of the 1908 coin which is the one coin that didn't have country of origin on it (in 1908 it was on the obverse) and the obverse of the 1998 coinage which also didn't have Canada on it. The problem was corrected when they issued the proof set and added Canada to the obverse of the one cent coin.

Here is the antique set.

Paul.
So you are saying there was no 1998 antique minted for circulation if so then I will not put a 2x2 in the page with that on it ? And I guess the 1998-W I can leave out because I see now it is a proof. So for the year 1998 there was only one coin minted for circulation is this right?

Correct Bruce. 1998W was not for circulation and neither was the 1908-1998.
