kmaldona New Member United States 35 Posts	Posted 11/10/2007 11:15 pm The website I am using to find special cent says to look for a 189 Lincoln Cent with out VDB. isn't VDB on the back at the very bottom. I havent found a coin with that yet. Please help. Kyle Report this Post to the Staff

In 1909 the first issues of the Lincoln Cent had VDB on the reverse at 180 degrees right against the rim. For some reason, people took a dislike to this and in short order is was removed. So, in 1909 there were coins issues with and without the VDB initials. Jim Report this Post to the Staff
