I know I posted this one about a year or so ago, felt it warranted a slab....super flat strike...images don't really capture the luster as well as I'd like...reverse is a better indication of coin overall.

MS64 from my monitor but ANACS may have held it back to 63. Really nice 92-O.

I agree with the others, MS-64 and you're right, that is a super flat strike.

I swear I can't keep up with all the wonderful toys appearing in this subforum.

This one is so flat the flat improves the eye appeal. I don't think it filled the cheek, and 65 really wouldn't surprise me. Near as I can tell New Orleans strikes get a pass at the TPG's at least to 65 and leniency after.

It could be that the striations on the cheek represent a pretty hard swipe, in which case the grade would take a big hit.

Fortunately this one didn't detail ....the guy at the submission table said it would top out at a certain grade due to strike....which I was ok with since I only have a Franklin bill in this one.

I'm in at MS65 on this one. The luster is absolutely gorgeous. If it was a sharper strike I would say MS66. The 92-O is super hard to find above 64 and gets fairly pricey....NICE coin!

I will go MS-64 but would not be surprised if they decided to downgrade it to a 63 because of the strike.

Scarcity of the issue is in play then. I'd still seek a second mortgage if I could find enough of this coin at $100.

Obverse has hairlines that appear to extend into the devices. Perhaps just the photos but I can't go higher than UNC Details for this one.
