Dorado, I love that one! One of the Die Cracks are very close to being a Rim To Rim Die Crack. Very nice find and congratulations!

A particular favorite. Obverse has three die cracks (U in REPUBLICA, second O in COLOMBIA, and to right of date) and a really ugly date (recut 9 and something going on with the second 6). Reverse has two die cracks at 3:00 and 7:00, and ghosting of the liberty cap from the obverse. A tutorial in a single coin!

Thanks. 1966 was the last year for that bronze Colombia 1C type KM#205), so I figure they decided not to invest in any new dies.
Ironically, it was replaced by a copper clad steel type (KM#205a) which I guess would cause the dies to wear out more quickly.?
