A nice little selection of Barbarous minims. The really nice one is 9mm, excellently preserved with good style. The legend is just visible but unreadable - theres scope for a little more cleaning, then ill leave it be. I havent decided what type its imitatig yet - appears to be a muscle clad male, rearwards facing, striding left.

Nice little set BEN
The bottom 1 reminds me of a Claudius II, Mars ? carrying trophies.
I need to go through my radiates to see if I have anything interesting in there

It seems to be a VIRTVS reverse (the reverse legend seems to start V). They all look to be typical Tetrici. Hopefully the obverse will show up a couple of letters - judging by the style, id expect the legend not to be blundered.

Its interesting, I havent had one in the style of the bottom coin before. Seen plenty from the top right and a few from the top left. The bust is clearly cut by a well trained celator.

EDIT: It is indeed Claudius. The legend reads I...[CL?]AV...

The chicken drumstick legs and muscular torso appear on the provincial types of Cladius II, maybe its one of those ?
I like them no matter who they are
