While we're at it, here's one of my Leo coins (an AE4 with his monogram):  Yes, I think that's a sand patina (or at least a desert one). No, I don't think it's fake, but who knows really. And these coins are tiny - here's it on a British sixpence for scale:  I've actually got another Leo coin since; it was a different type - no monogram there - but, IIRC, even smaller. (I don't remember if I took any photos of that coin, sadly.)

Very nice coins January, VK. Kind of interesting that the Honorius coin could have been struck right before the sack of Rome.
