Haha, funny! I had a Lucite toilet seat with tons of morgans, barbers, v nickles etc in it I sold for around $300 about 2 yrs ago (bought it at auction for $80!)

That is actually a cool idea, and gives me one. Drilling out an Ike and putting in a small set of clock hands, no numbers just the hour and minute, with the motor on the back, encased in a nice piece of wood.

How I would mount which part? They make small motors and clock pieces... so you'd drill out the center of the coin, enough to fit the hands to connect to that motor part. Then take a nice piece of cherry wood and hide the motor in whatever shape you want, you could router out the size of the coin in a thin piece and even extend out the motors arm... lots of ways. I was a machininst in Navy, I see it in my head on how i'd do it.
