Ok I have no idea what happened but with my 4 years break from searching Cents I decided to break into my saved rolls with die cracks, cuds,MD's etc and guess what most had verdigris all over them or good parts of them lol into the return box they all went .
Proper storage is key and learned it the hard way :(

They have mostly been dumped all were just about BU.
I have a few more rolls to look through but I really dont want to see anymore damage lol
My BU's in clear plastic tubes did well though.

I have bu rolls of lincolns in plastic tubes out of paper
wrapping from 30 years ago and their still doing nicely.
you have to keep them away from extreme temperature changes
and humidity.

Things like screw sealed tubes, silica gel and clip lock lunch bags should do the trick!

How did you have them stored? Right now I have mine in paper rolls in bank boxes sitting in the closet. Are they going to get ruined?
